Association of Possible Initiatives RzeczJasna

“Wherever you are, you can do the most important things in the world.”

Krzysztof Czyżewski
Who We Are

We work at the grassroots level because we believe that social change begins locally.

We are an association from Ostróda, active since 2012. We run civic media as well as educational and advocacy projects for young people from Warmia and Mazury — especially from smaller towns. We work at the grassroots level because we believe that social change starts locally: with a conversation with your neighbors, a school hallway, a bench in your neighborhood.

Our main office is in Ostróda, and we also work in Olsztyn — but most of what we do happens out in the field. We are inspired by the words of Krzysztof Czyżewski from the Borderland Foundation: “Wherever you are, you can do the most important things in the world.” That’s why here — in our small center of the world, in Warmia and Mazury — we tell local stories, amplify the voices of young people, and learn together how to use media wisely.

Our core team

Kinga Wiśniewska

President
A lawyer who chose to run a non-governmental organization — and has no regrets. She completed the School for Leaders, the School of Tutoring, and the Two Sectors One Vision program, and is a participant of the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). But most of all, she has learned through doing. She is passionate about new media, technology, and statistics. She writes, designs, and delivers projects — and is always dreaming up the next ones. She has been driving RzeczJasna forward from the very beginning.

Karolina Iszoro

Vice President
Before joining RzeczJasna, she worked in a local TV station. Since 2016, she has been doing it here — better and with greater passion. She refined her skills at Film Spring Open under the legendary Sławomir Idziak and on the Slot Art Festival set. She knows how to distinguish fake news from the truth — she completed Demagog’s Fact-Checking Academy. She studies journalism at the University of Warmia and Mazury. She co-leads the Youth Editorial Team and spreads her love for strong visual storytelling.

Tomek Esden-Tempski

Board Member
A person of relationships and connections. Thanks to him, we know we’re not alone. He is responsible for strategy and partnerships — and has a talent for finding people who want to act together. Because of him, we collaborate with KRM, Stocznia, and the University of Warmia and Mazury. A graduate of PROMENGO, but networking is simply in his blood.

Ewa Kasperek

Volunteer Coordinator
With RzeczJasna since 2016 — she started as a volunteer, and today she coordinates the entire volunteer program. In the meantime, she spent two years in France working with Solidarités Jeunesses — first in the European Solidarity Corps, then in Service Civique. She returned with countless ideas and even more energy. Today she makes sure our volunteers have everything they need. And she studies journalism at the University of Warmia and Mazury.

Beniamin Krawczyk

Leader and Animator
Before finishing high school, he had already chaired the Ostróda Youth City Council. Today, he is its mentor. He sits on the Youth Parliament of Warmia and Mazury and has worked with the Youth Council of the Parliamentary Youth Team. He has organized festivals, forums, and events we wouldn’t dare to take on ourselves. Currently a participant in the PAFW Leadership Program.Proof that age is just a number — and that passion and determination make all the difference.
